Zapier integration
The Smartix Zapier integration connects Smartix with the applications your business already uses, without requiring you to write a custom integration. It is ready for controlled beta use while the final documentation and Zapier review submission are completed.
What you can do now
Section titled “What you can do now”The current beta app provides these actions:
- Make Pass — create a pass from an active Smartix template. Template variables are loaded dynamically into the Zapier step, with validation for dates, numbers, colours, URLs, email addresses and barcode formats.
- Patch Pass — update selected values on one existing pass.
- Patch Passes — apply the same variable changes to a supplied list of passes.
- Patch All Passes — apply the same variable changes to every pass for a template.
- Patch Template Variables — update template-level variables, with an optional synchronisation mode.
- Notify Pass — send a notification to one pass.
- Notify Passes — send the same notification to a supplied list of passes.
- Notify All Passes — send the same notification to every pass for a template.
- Delete Pass and Delete Passes — permanently remove one pass or a supplied list of passes.
The app also loads active Smartix templates for selection in Zap steps, so a workflow can use a template ID without hard-coding the list into every Zap.
These actions can be combined with triggers from other Zapier applications. For example, a new form submission can create a pass, a CRM change can update pass data, or an order event can send a notification.
Beta access
Section titled “Beta access”The integration is available now to selected beta clients. Contact Smartix with the store or account you want to connect and the workflow you want to test. We will provide access and help confirm the correct templates, variables and TEST/LIVE mode for the workflow.
Review and roadmap
Section titled “Review and roadmap”The Zapier app is being prepared for formal Zapier review. General availability will follow the review and completion of the public setup documentation. More Smartix integrations will follow in due course, giving customers additional ways to connect Smartix to the systems they already use.
